The Beauty of Scheduled Blackouts

What is worse than having a blackout in the Philippines? It's having a blackout during the summer season in the Philippines. The heat has been extremely unbearable this season and your worst nightmare is definitely the lack of electricity.

And so my friends and I decided to hit the beach. An 8am meeting time had us arriving at 11am in Dauin because we win in time management and systematic grocery-shopping.

Our favorite photo accessory was Gabby, the very willing Belgian Malinois who puked his way to Dauin.

Lowland Beach Resort was fully-packed. Obviously, everyone needed some beach time.

Birthday 2016

Birthday Salubong at our new favorite Ersh Cafe.

Night swimming at Water's Edge. My family and I went there early in the afternoon so my little nephews can enjoy the pool and go home earlier to rest. Too bad we didn't have photos together. We were so busy keeping up with the toddlers! To give you an idea, we would find ourselves screaming every 5 minutes every time my nephews attempt to jump into the pool, swim on their own, or run faster than usual. It was a riot and the little ones gave us approximately 20 panic attacks! lol

My night swimming team! I am honestly embarrassed our table looked like all we had were drinks! I promise there were a lot of food too! Hahah.

Korean and Kapehan Night

Am I witty yet with this post title? Hahah.

So one steady Saturday night was spent in dedication to Koreans and Kape. Hahahah. (Waley) Pearl Restaurant has recently opened in Dumaguete and we had to take a visit and experience this latest trend we see on our news feed.

Overall, we loved it. Because we ordered a lot. Food is yummy. And yummy food solves everything!

Our next stop was this quaint little cafe a few blocks downtown. They named it Ersh Cafe and my gay heart leapt with joy! This coffee syphone (or syphoned coffee?) is interesting 'coz you have to brew the coffee yourself.

Snapchat and its Relevance

Recently, I have been fed up with Facebook (and all the drama that comes with it). As a result, I have unfollowed a few people in my friends list so as not to see any more of those unnecessary stories on my timeline. Later, I soon realized that almost all posts annoy me and so it wouldn't be practical to unfollow all of my friends! LOL

So I resorted to Snapchat - that tiny little ghost in your application that doesn't judge and keeps secrets to a limit of 24 hours until it goes away FOR GOOD. That idea kinda disappointed me at first. I mean where do all of those posts go? Snapchat heaven? Or maybe that's the point? It should go away immediately so as not to annoy people more? Just like what Facebook does??? We'll never know.

Anyway, here are a few uses of Snapchat to my everyday life:

When you want to remind yourself that you are indeed a sleepyhead.

When you're in an emergency situation.

When your friend wants to make fun of your little milestones in life.

When committing a crime (vandalism)

When you want to stalk your favorite celebrities

Finally... When you can't help but snap some innocent selfies.

In conclusion, I just wanted to say I post a lot of selfies on Snapchat. Hihi
