Holy Week 2016

And so the Holy Week passed by and once again, it brought me sleepless nights and a whole new set of eye bags. But it was another week of fruitful lessons and realizations, so who's really complaining? (Uhm, me a little bit heheh)

Palm Sunday.

Kumpisalan ng Bayan at the Dumaguete Cathedral. (Holy Wednesday)

Noam as an angel for the Reposition of the Blessed Sacrament. (Maundy Thursday)

New York Fashion in the 50s

Uhmmm. Where do I negotiate and trade my soul so I can be born in a different era and city?

Easy Listening: Blooms by The Paper Kites

Ahhh. Sundays, you make me feel happy. And nostalgic. And other those sorts of emotions all at the same time. This song has Sundays written all over it and I'm not ashamed to declare that I have played this song on loop for at least an hour now.  Because how can you not??? It's an oldie but goodie.

Imagine yourself reading some good book with a cup of coffee while playing this sweet music in the background. I think that would make up for a good day, wouldn't it?

Twin Lakes of Balinsasayao and Danao

Welcome to the Municipality of Sibulan - a town that boasts not only of beautiful people (ahem ahem), but also jaw-dropping sights and wonders. One of the most famous spots would be this set of lakes tucked 13km away from the provincial road.

I have been here a couple of times before and the feeling of awe never gets old. Whether you're a local or visiting tourist, I think everyone needs to see this wonder regularly.

Lake Balinsasayao

Lake Danao

Lake Kabalin-an (This isn't part of the twin lakes. But this one is another stunner right before you enter and register and their center. This lake is a favorite backdrop for prenups and other photoshoots)
